Zoe

Zoe_Physiotherapist

BSc(Hons) MCSP

Specialist Physiotherapist for Older Adults and Long Term Conditions.

Zoe graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2016 with a BSc Honours in Physiotherapy and started my rotational job within NHS Ayrshire and Arran. She rotated around an array of different specialties, both inpatient and outpatient for 2 years. During this time, Zoe also worked casually alongside Junior and Amateur Football clubs and had regular part time involvement working alongside the local Rugby Club for more experience around sporting injuries and rehabilitation.

Zoe then decided to take some time away from Physiotherapy to travel to New Zealand and Australia for 18 months. During this time, she immersed herself in different cultures, began working for charitable organisations and took the opportunity to provide early education to the children of New Zealand.

Coming home to Scotland, Zoe returned to the NHS where she now works permanently as a Community Rehabilitation Physiotherapist. Here she has been able to utilise and develop her knowledge, skill set and keen interest in long term conditions, orthopaedic rehabilitation and mental and physical wellbeing.

She is very passionate about education around regaining and maintaining physical independence for the best possible quality of life for each and every person.
